I work part-time on basketball R&D.

I worked in the Baseball Sciences team in a part-time capacity to leverage biomechanical data for informing front office decisions and supporting coaching staff.

At the MIT Sports Lab, I collaborate with FIFA to explore novel officiating technologies and their broader implications. My thesis leverages techniques from social science, Bayesian statistics, and deep learning to both optimize these systems and measure their externalities.

I created tools for measuring basketball shooting mechanics for NBA teams, developed football event detection algorithms for aerial duels serving Serie A, and designed methods for inferring bat position without bat tracking data for MLB.

It was an incredible experience working on projects across so many sports with some great people!

I'm advised by Professor Peko Hosoi in the MIT Institute for Data, Systems, and Society. I serve as a graduate researcher in the MIT Sports Lab and work in collaboration with FIFA at the intersection of sports technology, data science, and policy.

I graduated with a 4.80/5.0 GPA while serving as Captain of MIT's Varsity Men's Swimming & Diving. Roll Tech!
